Marietta’s longtime work home is the scene for the Charlottesville launch of Leaving 1203. She returns to Piedmont Virginia Community College for what’s sure to be a lively time. Her talk which begins at 2:30 will be in the Commons in the Dickinson Building with its beautiful view of the pond and mountains—formerly Marietta’s station for office hours before teaching her Honors philosophy classes. Following College Drive, Dickinson is the last building on campus with lots of parking, and the Commons beckons upon entering the front doors. She’ll hang around before and after the talk, glad to be back at the College. Her books will be available for purchase and signing.
