Marietta returns to the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women to meet with students enrolled in the Piedmont Virginia Community College World Literature course.

She joins Professor Ben Sloan for a discussion of Japanese literature and the influence of Buddhist principles on both prose and poetry. An examination of core Zen principles showcased in the three-line poetic form of haiku will be followed by writing and sharing sample verses of this meditative poetry.
