Who wouldn’t drive country roads to speak with “a group of generous, kindhearted, hardworking and fun-loving women with diverse backgrounds who enjoy working and socializing together!” Members of the Belmont Club of Women hail from the counties of Louisa, Spotsylvania, and Orange. This service-focused organization provides academic scholarships to high school seniors and funds for a variety of non-profits. Marietta will share her lessons in service, and so many others, learned as a child at 1203. Sampling food from her childhood kitchen adds to the merriment of this annual meeting.
