Marietta returns with her philosophical toolkit to continue her discussion with inmates at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women who are enrolled in the PVCC English 211 course entitled Creative Writing. On her first visit on February 17, the animated conversation centered around the concepts of Courage and Humanity from Little Big Minds. The students were prepared, engaged, smart, reflective, and honest. They wrote poetry and sketched, talked and inquired. For this session, clarity about Flexibility and Serenity from How Philosophy Can Save Your Life grounds their time together. What will they learn? What will Marietta learn?
